How would you divide the lands included in a Condominium Plat?  In Wisconsin you don't!

Prior to divividing the land it must be removed from the condominum form of ownership. All property would then be owned in common.

703.28 Removal from provisions of this chapter.

(1) All of the unit owners may remove all or any part of the property from the provisions of this chapter by a removal instrument, duly recorded, provided that the holders of all liens affecting any of the units consent thereto or agree, in either case by instruments duly recorded, that their liens be transferred to the percentage of the undivided interest of the unit owner in the property.

(1m) (a) If the merger of 2 or more condominiums under s. 703.275 would result in the creation of a new plat for the resultant condominium, the property of the preexisting condominiums shall first be removed from the provisions of this chapter by recording a removal instrument.

(b) Before a certified survey map, condominium plat, subdivision plat or other plat may be recorded and filed for the same property; the condominium shall first be removed from the provisions of this chapter by recording a removal instrument.

(2) Upon removal of any property from this chapter, the property shall be deemed to be owned in common by the unit owners. The undivided interest in the property owned in common which appertains to each unit owner shall be the percentage of undivided interest previously owned by the owner in the common elements.

When do I need a property survey

The question should be asked more often, but isn't.
A survey should be ordered when:
Any land is purchased,
Before land is sold,
Prior to any activity near a lot line such as fence construction or planting,
Prior to, during and/or after any utility modifications near a property line,
Prior to, during and or after any neighbors activities that may affect your property rights,
Prior to, during or after and street improvements.
When neighbors land is for sale or changes ownership.
When refinancing property.
Prior to and sometimes after additions added to a house or building.
These are some of the most common times but if you have any uncertainty to your property line location have it surveyed!

http://www.legis.state.wi.us/rsb/code/a-e/a-e.html

Land Surveying

"Land Surveying" is the detailed study or inspection, as by gathering information through observations, measurements in the field, research of legal instruments, and data analysis in the support of planning, designing, and establishing of property boundaries. It involves the re-establishment of surveys and boundaries based on documents of record and physical evidence, as well as subdivision of land.
Land surveying can include associated services such as mapping and related data accumulation, construction layout surveys, precision measurements of length, angle, elevation, area, and volume, as well as horizontal and vertical control surveys, and the analysis and utilization of land survey data.
